Training Consultant - Payroll Project

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Project Manager, US Payroll Project, the Training Consultant (12 month term) will be responsible for migration of activities and conducting end-user training to leaders and stakeholder groups during a transitionary period for our payroll and time keeping systems across the entire organization.


The successful candidate will have strong background in systems training and have excellent communication and presentation skills.  


**Please note this is a temporary, 12 month contract position**


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty.
  • Provide program support for new users both onsite and remotely.
  • Perform needs, job and task analysis to determine training required for employees.
  • Develop teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and references works.
  • Designs and develops assessments to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.



  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with Kronos with version 7 or higher a plus.
  • Prior experience in SAP Employee Central Payroll a plus.
  • Skilled in conducting group presentations and discussions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience using ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under strict timelines, coordination and organization skills.
  • Project management experience considered an asset.
  • A strong relationship builder with an emphasis on timely follow up.
