The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Project Manager, US Payroll Project, the Change Management Consultant (12 month term) will be responsible for providing change management subject matter expertise, coaching and mentoring to leaders and stakeholder groups during a transitionary period for our payroll and time keeping systems across the entire organization. Change responsibilities include partnering with other members of the Global IT, HR and Payroll, Change Management team, leaders and key stakeholders, planning for organization readiness, stakeholder management and leadership alignment.

 

The successful candidate will have strong experience in assessing knowledge and skill gaps and supporting the design and deployment of learning solutions for critical capability areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Change Management Leader – Canfor Payroll Project to design, develop and execute the Change and Communication strategy, as well as detailed plans and activities for key priorities related to executing strategic direction.
  • Lead and/or participate in change and communication process for deployment projects to business units and functions.
  • Tracks change and communication measurement for the project.
  • Develop and manage work plans, status reports, issue logs and other PMO requirements.
  • Escalate risks and issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure that contingency plans are in place to minimize risk.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Change Management and managing multiple priorities, working with senior leaders and delivering results.
  • Prior experience in payroll and time and attendance implementation either participating or leading change efforts is a plus (SAP and Kronos preferred).
  • Experience using ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under strict timelines, coordination and organization skills.
  • A strong relationship builder with an emphasis on timely follow up.
