POSITION OVERVIEW:

The controller/financial manager is responsible for overseeing the finance department of the organization, including: inventory management, payroll, accounts payable, profitability analysis, cost management, system reporting, risk management, and compliance. Reporting to the General Manager, the controller/financial manager works with the management team to develop budgets, forecasts and sales strategies for domestic and international sales markets. The controller/financial manager implements and maintains key internal accounting controls and ensures timely and accurate reporting is provided to the partner companies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with a recognized professional accounting designation;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior finance role;
  • Ability to work in a multi-system environment;
  • An experienced team player with strong leadership skills;
  • Analytical / problem solving skills;
  • Flexibility and the ability to work cross functionally;
  • Familiarity with international trade in multiple currencies.
