The Opportunity
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing accurate information that will support the management team. This position requires well established organizational skills, a high level of motivation and energy, excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a fast paced team environment.

 

The Role:

  • Provide Administrative support to the Division
  • Main contact for general inquiries
  • Assist with operational reporting
  • Event planning and meeting coordination
  • To assist with the onboarding of new hires
  • Payroll timekeeping
     

 

The Candidate:

  • High school graduate with a minimum of three (3) years human resources and/or administrative experience
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Some payroll experience is an asset
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and the desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Flexibility, ability to multi-task, detail-orientated and positive
