As the Sustainability Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Canfor’s sustainability and environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) disclosures and data collection and support the development of the annual Sustainability Report. You will be a part of Canfor’s strategic environment and sustainability team, driving continuous improvement and supporting the implementation of Canfor’s sustainability strategy and vision. Motivated and energetic, you will work closely with business partners including operations, finance and IT, to improve data gathering and integrated systems reporting processes for ESG data. This role lines up perfectly with your “be-leaf” in a greener future. 

In a perfect world, you have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline including business, sustainability management, environmental science, finance, accounting or similar, as well as multiple years’ experience in sustainability reporting or consulting. You are familiar with ESG rating agencies and reporting standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD and CDP. You may also have experience in related areas of climate change, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions quantification, financial reporting, impact measurement for environmental, social and governance metrics.  

You will be a “natural resource” for the company with your forestry or energy, resources & industrial experience along with your strong understanding of ESG frameworks and data analysis and related guidance. Pair that with your advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with sustainability reporting and you are the perfect fit.
