Sr. Compensation Analyst

A subject matter expert in the field of compensation, you resolve complex situations, think creatively, and can see the “bigger picture”.

 

As the Sr. Compensation/Total Rewards Analyst, you will work within a growing global company spanning Canada, the United States, Japan, South Korea, China, and Sweden. Under the leadership of the Manager, Global Compensation, you will be a key contributor to the delivery of Canfor’s global compensation programs. You will independently assess the effectiveness of these programs in terms of attraction, talent metrics, business KPIs, retention, and engagement using market intelligence. It will also be your responsibility to lead the job grading and market pricing activities to formulate recommendations.

 

Your inventive mind allows you to take a creative approach, and you will utilize this capability as you contribute and influence the design of compensation structures, incentive programs, and global job architecture. You will also perform cost and impact analyses relating to program changes or new initiatives, research, as well as adapt and propose methodological approaches to improve analytics and compensation processes.

 

Ideally, you have a total rewards professional certification (e.g., CCP, CBP, or CEBS) along with demonstrated expertise in market pricing (broad-based and executive roles). You also have experience designing, administering, and evaluating compensation programs and experience with job grading, including point-factor methodology.
