The Opportunity:

The Manager, Corporate Human Resources is responsible for supporting a diverse range of human resources services including; onboarding activity, developing and maintaining job descriptions, providing advice on policy interpretation and engaging in the recruitment process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with employees and provide support on all HR matters to multiple client groups
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations
  • Manage and deliver new hire onboarding activities
  • Develop, review and maintain job descriptions
  • Support talent acquisition by assisting with recruitment campaigns
  • Manage HR documentation such as offer letters, status changes, performance correspondence and other communication as necessary
  • Ensure effective HR metrics and provide management with analysis and recommendations
  • Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
  • Deliver communication on key HR programs, policies and procedures
  • Help assigned departments with a variety of HR strategies to build and maintain high performing teams
  • Driving the business performance in relation to the organization’s objectives
  • Supporting the HR manager with various capability investigations, including complaints and disciplinary
  • Provide coaching and training to front line managers on Employee Relations processes and policies
  • Work on HR special projects and perform other job related duties


Required Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Chartered Human Resources Professional designation (CPHR) preferred
  • 5 years of relevant HR experience

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
  • A high degree of flexibility to adapt to and effectively manage multiple priorities in a large size organization
  • Strong customer service orientation and conflict management skills
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
