The Opportunity:
The Executive Assistant, Pulp will report to the President and provide administrative support to the CPPI executive team. The incumbent must conduct themselves in a professional and enthusiastic manner and be comfortable in dealing with executive personnel, board members, Government officials, customers and all levels of management.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with executive offices (internal and external) to book all appointments and provide the necessary supporting documentation for these appointments
  • Preparing confidential correspondence, presentation materials and reports
  • Assisting in the preparation of Board meetings, Board presentations and correspondence
  • Coordinating travel and expense reports
  • Handling project work and coordinating company participation in industry meetings and events

Please note: This is a 2 year temporary role with Canfor. 


The Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years senior administrative experience preferably with a public company as well as post-secondary education in the marketing, finance or legal fields.
  • Efficient, well organized and adept at prioritizing and multi-tasking,
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • You have superior computer proficiency, especially with the MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
  • Your strong attention to detail will serve you well in this dynamic position.
