The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Certified Electrician to join our Pulp Mill team and make a difference in an exciting and challenging environment.

The Role:
As part of the Electrical and Instrumentation team you will apply your knowledge of PLCs at our highly technical and innovative mill facilities. You will also:

  • Ensure safety standards are met by following Canfor safe work and lockout procedures
  • Develop strong working relationships with your peers and team


The Candidate:

  • Must possess a Red seal or Interprovincial TQ
  • A strong background in PLCs
  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Solid background in heavy industry and construction
  • Knowledge of the pulp and paper industry would be an asset
