The Divisional Accountant reports to the to the Regional Controller and is a key member of the management team, responsible for the full range of operational, financial, and management accounting reporting, analysis, and administrative support.

 

The life of the Divisional Accountant includes:

  • Providing operational and financial support & analysis for the manufacturing facility and its assets
  • Preparing and assisting in the annual business plan, monthly and quarterly forecast, weekly cost report, and capital project processes
  • Assisting department heads and supervisors in departmental budget control, cost/benefit analysis, and providing financial information and recommendations
  • Coordinating and liaising with both internal and external customers
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and IFRS
  • Reviewing and approving financial statements and reports
  • Coaching operations personnel on financial matters related to their area of responsibility

 

For this role, come equipped with:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Advanced personal computer skills (MS Office)

 

Ideally, you come armed with your CPA designation, experience with standardization and continuous improvement, and experience in financial management specifically in a manufacturing or operational setting. For bonus points, you have knowledge of operational performance management and business process improvement.

The salary range for this position is: $98,000.00-$122,500.00
