Reliability Specialist, Canfor Pulp

As the Reliability Specialist, you will be working closely with all production members while you provide technical support to the operational and maintenance teams. You will also support non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of equipment and improve the preventive maintenance program using RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance). This position gives you exposure to many key aspects of our business and operational departments across four mills, as well as challenging reliability opportunities. Reporting to the Reliability Team Leader, you will assist in the management of condition monitoring systems and lead the defect elimination process for root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Ideally, you possess a solid background in reliability roles; have demonstrable expertise in the continuous improvement of equipment and heavy industry maintenance experience. For bonus points you are a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional, Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) or a Maintenance Management Professional (MMP). Qualifications are great but experience is better. Your strong background in reliability from a heavy industrial setting (Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector) will “fine tune” your application

What you will do: 

• Assist in the management of condition monitoring systems (Vibration Analysis, Thermography, etc.).
• Lead the Defect Elimination process using root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Continually improve the preventive maintenance program using RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance).
• Support Area Teams in achieving production/cost goals through reliability leadership
• Work closely with lubrication mechanics and the lubrication improvement program.
• Provide technical support for Operational and Maintenance Teams.
• Generate statistical reviews of equipment maintenance history and production loss.

The salary range for this position is: $95,500.00-$119,500.00
