As a Certified Instrument Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:
- Following Canfor’s safe work and lockout procedures to meet the highest safety standards
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with team members and other departments
- Calibrating, maintaining, and tuning equipment to ensure peak performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation and control system issues as they arise
For this role, we are looking for candidates who:
- Red seal or Interprovincial TQ
- Experience in electronic controls, valve repairs and transmission calibrations
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Solid background in heavy industry and construction
- Knowledge of the pulp and paper industry is an asset, as is an electrical trade background

The hourly rate for this position is: $48.66
