This position will be responsible for processing full cycle payroll for several operations and producing reports for state and federal taxation, internal Human Resources, Accounting and company leadership. 

 

The successful candidate will have solid experience in working with both hourly and salary payroll and work closely with all other Payroll team members in a leadership role to ensure all payroll functions are handled efficiently and accurately. This position requires well established organizational skills, a high level of motivation and energy, excellent two-way communication and preference for working in a tightly knit team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processing of payroll, timekeeping, earnings, deductions and taxes for multiple divisions, in compliance with Labor Laws
  • Enter and track all new hire employee information and terminations
  • Produce payroll income tax reports, 401k deductions, and state payroll tax liability deposit requirements
  • Complete all year end related payroll tasks including finalizing adjustments for W2's and related reconciliations
  • Provide payroll related information as required by Operations and Senior Management
  • Coordinate with operational Human Resources and Accounting staff to ensure all processes are completed in a timely manner
  • Liaison with operating divisions for maintaining deductions, charitable donations and other divisional initiatives

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Payroll Administration in a leadership role
  • A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or certification in a related field is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Kronos
  • Solid experience in Worker’s Compensation, benefits, and federal and state tax withholding
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and the desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
