This role is a night‑shift position running Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekend shifts when needed.

 

You understand how to balance production needs, maintenance priorities, and employee support while maintaining unwavering accountability to safety. As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in operational success. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you’ll lead maintenance crews, ensure work is performed safely and effectively, and foster a culture of excellence that strengthens the reliability and performance of our operations.

 

 

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing clear direction, coaching, and support to your team while fostering strong working relationships across the mill.
  • Assisting in developing and achieving targets related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.
  • Leading with a strong safety-first mindset, ensuring all tasks and behaviors meet or exceed safety and quality expectations.
  • Ensuring the preventive maintenance program is fully developed, executed, and maintained within budget.
  • Coordinating planned maintenance activities with production teams to meet operational targets without compromising quality or safety.
  • Maintaining high standards of work performance and addressing performance or behavioral concerns as needed.
  • Planning and scheduling daily and weekly preventative maintenance tasks to support equipment reliability.

 

 

For this role, you’ll come equipped with:

  • 3+ years of maintenance and leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years as a maintenance or electrical technician, or an equivalent blend of education and hands-on experience.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using electronic maintenance programs (CMMS) — considered an asset.
  • Knowledge or experience in lumber manufacturing — considered an asset.
