The team in Chetwynd, BC is looking for a Silviculture Crew Leader to work an 11-month term. Could this opportunity be the perfect fit for you?


You’re an “unbeleafable” team player who excels at listening, speaking, and observing. You welcome the idea of getting a little dirt on your boots and have the ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork. You possess a strong work ethic and consistently operate in a safe and efficient manner.


In a Silviculture role in Chetwynd, BC, your daily responsibilities will include the supervision of planting, vegetation management, and site preparation. You will update key silviculture databases following completion of activities and be involved in the finalization of post-harvest prescriptions and regeneration surveys. Safety is no accident, and you will work to continue your spotless reputation as you ensure compliance with Canfor’s safety, environmental and quality standards.


In these roles, you have a current or past enrollment in Forestry or Natural Resources Management program and/or forestry experience as well as a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
