As a Supervisor in Training, you’ll be working for one of the largest forestry companies in the world as you apply your skills to our daily manufacturing activities. Collaborating closely with management, you'll rotate through various plant areas, contributing to safety leadership, operational efficiency, and team development. 

   

A day in the life of a Supervisor in Training will include: 

 

  • Assist in maintaining the highest standards of safety, leading by example and ensuring all employees follow policies, procedures and practices.  

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce costs, while safely maintaining and maximizing production targets.  

  • Actively participate in coaching, training and supporting team members to maximize performance.  

  • Foster a culture of open communication with employees at all levels.  

  • Assist in ensuring the timely implementation of key corporate and operational initiatives. 

 

For this role, you come equipped with: 

 

  • A relevant degree in Forestry, Industrial Manufacturing, Business, or related topics OR a minimum of 5 years of work-related experience in production operations and/or maintenance. 

  • Responsible, hardworking, self-motivated, and willing to work on all shifts in all conditions.  

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication. 

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot. 

  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude. 

  • Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process and/or wood laminating process would be an asset. 

  • Experience and a good track record in safety.
